Netscape Reaches 100,000 Registered Users

Since I haven’t seen this noted anywhere, I just wanted to point out that Netscape passed a milestone on December 24, 2006 when they reached 100,000 registered users. That’s nothing to sneeze at after 6 months.

By comparison, Digg took 11 months to reach that milestone, but they were filling a relatively unestablished niche at the time. There’s no doubt that Digg’s trailblazing is in part responsible for Netscape’s adoption rate.

You can keep track of how many registered users Netscape has at any time by using the tracker.

Congratulations, Netscape!
