My name is Derek van Vliet. I am a Toronto-based developer with a background in software and web development. Currently I am the Director of Development for Touchpoint Studios, a company that I co-founded. I also work on AOL’s social news site, Propeller, on the side. As well, I am an avid photographer, although I’m maintaining my amateur status so that I can compete in the olympics.
